MaryLu Tyndall ~ She Walks in Love

To Hope-Inspired Storiesfor anyone who'd like to discover more about books and stories that uplift and encourage.

Several years ago, while teaching high school art, I found out I was as thrilled as my students when they won awards or were acknowledged for their accomplishments, and that promoting other people's good works was very gratifying. 

So it is my hope you are blessed with a message of grace through the words of authors featured here. 

Please join me to get acquainted with writers of fiction, nonfiction, and devotionals; of romance, mystery, historical and contemporary stories share their work.


For the month of July, Hope Inspired Stories will hi-light historicals, stories from the Byzantine period up to the colonial American period. My guest this week is a well-known multi-published author MaryLu Tyndall and her latest novel...
She Walks in Love, the second book in the "Protectors of the Spear"series, published by Ransom Press, a story in a three-book series of romance and adventure during the Medieval period.

It's especially meaningful to me to have MaryLu as a guest this month as my giveaway prize is a hand-made lap quilt called "French Flowers"(see below) by none other than MaryLu's sister Leandra! Quilts have been made for hundreds of years, and I thought this would be a great gift for a month of wonderful historical stories.

The biggest danger is to his heart, for he has vowed to remain unfettered and never surrender his freedom to a woman.

Though the Spear protects the couple along their journey, Cristiana must learn to trust the One whose blood stains the relic, while Jarin must learn to rely on powers far above his own knightly skills. For the dark magic that is chasing them may take all the powers of heaven to defeat.

  2. Thanks for stopping in Chappy! I've always loved MaryLu's stories--she's such a great writer! And, I already have a quilt made by her sister, so was very happy with that, and thought something similar would make a lovely giveaway for a historical theme.

  7. I’ve enjoyed every book I’ve read of Marylu Tyndall’s so far, and I’m assuming this new one will not be an exception! She’s one of my favorite authors. I love the cover, and the book sounds so great!

  9. Loved the book! I really love the tale MaryLu weaves into each book. This one kind of reminded me of The Empire Strikes Back, evil has a foothold and is not willing to go out easily. Am now awaiting the 3rd book in this trilogy. I am sure I will love that book as well. It will be fascinating to see how MaryLu end this tale of the Keepers of the Spear.
