...A Christian Historical Romance and Book Eight in the

Hearts of the West Collection

  • Publisher : ‎ Tracey J Lyons (December 10, 2024)

When two boys who arrive in Missouri on the famed Orphan Train are left behind at the station, bake shop owner Amy Montgomery vows to make a home for them. She wants the boys to have a family for Christmas—but first she must convince former Pinkerton agent John Oliver to marry her.

John Oliver only left the Adirondack town of Hearthstone, NY for Missouri to make sure Amy stayed safe as she began her new life in a new town. He has no intention of becoming part of a makeshift family. When he realizes the orphaned boys could be in danger, he decides helping Amy may be the only way to save them.

Will they become the family she has prayed for in time for Amy to get her Christmas wish?

Hearts of the West is a collection of novellas that can be read in any order. From the mountains of Wyoming to the California desert. And from the plains of Missouri to Montana's rustic settings, readers will be swept into heartwarming tales of faith and romance.

  2. Hi Chappy--Glad to see you! I never knew decorated eggs were an early symbol of Easter (eastern Europe). When they're broken it represents the opening of the tomb!
