Heart of Strength

Danger lurks in the shadows...

Aimee Walthers never expected returning to her childhood home would result in both a stagecoach robbery and coming face-to-face with Wyatt MacAllister, her childhood nemesis. Tasked with caring for her orphaned nieces, she determined to ignore Wyatt and survive the days of grief and mourning. Her plans are shattered when an unexpected evil arises, intent on silencing anyone whom it deems a threat.

Deputy Wyatt MacAllister never expected to almost die during a stagecoach robbery investigation. Determined to catch the criminals, he reluctantly joins forces with Aimee …who is both a target and one of the few who can identify those responsible.

As their enemies close in and questions remain unanswered, threats increase in severity, and lives are endangered, bringing the chilling realization that danger—and death—are closer than Aimee and Wyatt imagined.

Heart of Strength is part of the Hearts of the West, a series of standalone Christian historical romance novellas.
